Urban Homekeeper Challenge

Most of you have noticed that it became harder to safe extra money, well this is what we have to do to make it work. Take this challenge with me. I just found this on one of the blogs I visit!!! Great idea, Thank you!

Take The Urban Homekeeper Challenge

I’ve been tossing around an idea of a challenge for all the Urban Homekeepers™ out there. Most of us really want to save money, eat well, eat safe and healthy foods, support local agriculture and make what you can for your family instead of buying it.The problem most of us run into is that we have little or no property to grow vegetables or animals on, little disposable income with which to invest in money saving devices like High Efficiency washers and front loading dryers, and sometimes our living circumstances prevent us from making structural changes to our homes…
But there has to be a place we can all start…..
So I am issuing a CHALLENGE to all Urban Homekeepers; A call to…

reuse when you can
make do with what you have
seek out and use local agriculture
to make what you can for home use
make everything you can from scratch
to seek out and learn new ways to be frugal
to develop a spirit of creativity in managing your home
to feed and clothe your family well, but to live within your means.
Use it up! Wear it out!Make it do or Do Without!
If you are ready to take this challenge, and to encourage others to do so, place this code on your site. I commit to offering you ideas for frugality and information about where to find good ideas!
Right click on this picture, save to your hard drive…
Place the picture on your site and link back to The Christian Homekeeper™.
Now, share your tips and ideas for living frugally and saving money on food and household items!
Let me know that you are taking the CHALLENGE!
